Safety and Security:The Light Kids Conference maintains high standards for safety and security during the event. For the safety of the event, we ask that each church group have one adult for every 5 children. Our core Harvest Staff have all had back ground checks and DCFS checks. Each child and adult in the building during the day wears a wristband so that we know who is officially registered with the conference. Students ride back with whom they arrived. Local church host also implement their own local church rules such as keeping certain areas of the facilities locked up, etc. |

Menu:The typically menu for lunch is pizza, fruit cup, chips, drink and dessert (pudding or cookie). If there are special dietary needs, please indicate that on your registration form. |

Leadership:Tim and Suzanne Price have been serving through Harvest Ministry Teams since it began in 1996. Tim graduated from McKendree College in 1994 and with an M. Div. from Asbury Seminary in 1998. In addition to serving with Harvest, Tim is also on staff as the Worship Design Pastor for Troy United Methodist Church in Troy, IL.Suzanne graduted with a degree in elementary education from McKendree College in 1995. Before taking the role as business administrator for Harvest Ministry Teams, she was experienced as a teacher in the public schools, a pre-school director and the Director of Children’s Ministries for a local church. The Harvest staff, a group of young adults who participate in summer ministry teams as well as take part in the school year conferences and events, are students in colleges around Illinois and the Mid-west. |

Cost:Early registration rate is $19 per student (postmarked by February 19) and the regular rate is $25.Additional Siblings are $10 and sponsors are $15 (this rate stays the same).

Cancellation Policy:All requests for cancellations must state the reason for requested funds and be submitted on church letterhead to Harvest Conferences. If cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the conference, registrations will be refunded minus a $10 processing fee. Cancellations made 15-30 days before the conference will be refunded for half the registered fee. No refunds will be granted for cancellations made within 15 days of conference. |

Children's Ministry Leader Information:Registration begins at 8:30 AM for the event. The first session kicks off at 9:00 AM.Typically, a local church will register a group from their church and plan to ride and attend the event together. The children’s ministry leaders workshop is a forty minute time slot we use to equip and encourage children’s workers with creative ideas. This happens while the kids are enjoying the entertainment time. |
