It was a great weekend with Speaker Shane Sanderson and Special Guest Krash Krew.

"The experience at Fire-up was amazing! The band, people, small groups, Krash Krew, Shane Sanderson, and just to have the wonderful experience to get to know God more! That was amazing. I just started reading more of the bible today, starting again, with Genesis. My goal is to read a little of the bible each day. Fire-Up gave me a new life, now I am more into life and people around me. I am more positive with others around me giving them encourage about God and how he loves them even if they do a sin. I let them know that God loves them and that they could turn to him when they are having troubles. Well, I want to thank you for the opportunity to get to know you and the band."

It's obvious there are hundreds of kids your age all over Illinois who desire to be made new in Christ. I encourage you to reflect upon the weekend and remember you have community with all the other teens. You guys came together for the sole purpose of worshipping and learning about ONE TRUE AND LIVING GOD! How cool is it that you can all have that in common? God is the creator of each one of you and he desires to make us new. Praise the Lord for that!"
